Playful Danish Design for the Children’s room

Playful Danish Design for the Children’s room

FLEXA, the innovative leader in children’s furniture design launches a new colorful line of children’s furniture in collaboration with Danish designer Charlotte Høncke. FLEXA Play combines smart functionality and beautiful design – playfully.

COMBINE & CREATE

FLEXA PLAY was a labor of love for the designers who developed the assortment to allow families to create their own palette of colors within their homes. The collection’s four colors – mint green, rose, yellow and white allow you to choose color combinations that create a playful environment to any room. Constructed with rich grained ash wood and featuring color details on the feet of the baby bed, single bed and stool, the collection will show its playfulness for years of use

In my work with the FLEXA Play collection I chose to combine bright happy colours with the warmth of the ash tree in a rounded and simple design. I hope that my designs can help creating perfect conditions for sleep and play in the children’s room.” – Designer Charlotte Høncke

COMBINE & CREATE

FLEXA Play is much more than just furniture for children; it’s a living collection that will fit any part of the modern home. By combining multiple colors, families can create a functionally unique setting in their homes. The modern play table is perfectly at home in your living room or kitchen and the storage bench will be a welcome place for boots, hats, or toys in a hallway or children’s room. Combining different colors will ensure that every family member will know just where to find their own belongings.

BEYOND THE CHILD’S ROOM

Unlike most children’s furniture pieces that are only used through childhood, FLEXA Play will continue to find a place at home. The table can be used as a coffee or bedside table and the stools will make it easy to reach your high kitchen cabinets or tall bookcase. Mix and match to add your personal touch

Children want to be where their parents are, and FLEXA Play has been designed with that in mind. Many families carry children’s furniture into their living room and I tried to create some furniture with a simple, pure and Nordic expression that can fit into the entire room and not just the children’s room.” – Designer Charlotte Høncke

FLEXA DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
