Among the raft of highly informative seminar sessions, architecture is the prime component as the UK now faces pressing housing issues. Architects and designers are developing solutions that are practical and affordable, designed with community in mind. Eminent architects line up to take to the podium with their informative talks. Included are Sunand Prasad PPRIBA of Penoyre and Prasad, James Pickard of Cartwright Pickard and Jim Eyre OBE of Wilkinson Eyre.

Core seminars will include: ‘Innovating with Low Impact Materials’. This seminar will discuss how low impact materials can encourage the construction of low carbon healthy buildings and share knowledge about how best to use low impact materials; CEDIA will explore the future of households with correct implementation of future-ready technologies and the latest innovations for the home. This seminar will provide great tools for Interior Designers who would like to expand their portfolio by incorporating the best technologies for their clients without obtruding their designs.

Other highlights include: The ‘Materials of Invention’ seminar which will review major developments in materials, products and technology; New London Architecture’s 20 second Pechua Kucha presentations, and the ‘Active by Design’ session being facilitated by Cabe at the Design Council.
