SUNA INTERIOR DESIGN SHOWCASE INDUSTRIAL-CHIC INTERIORS AT WAREHOUSE DEVELOPMENT IN N19

Nestled among the residential streets of North West Islington and Archway, Family Mosaic’s ‘The Joinery’ provides an exclusive number of warehouse inspired and new build apartments. Envisioned by award winning boutique interior designers Suna Interior Design, the development’s industrial beginnings are present throughout, with a range of warehouse style elements.

Suna Interior Design was appointed to create an edgy design that comprised unique items, reminiscent of ‘local finds’. Rebecca Tucker, Director of Suna Interior Design comments, “We expect the owners will be discerning, trendy individuals who enjoy one-off pieces of artwork and objects. The show home will appeal to design savvy buyers who appreciate unique interiors and have an affinity for the local area. Throughout the show apartment there is a selection of hand-picked items that combine to create an individual feel. From the moment you walk through the door, the design is warm, quirky and inviting.”

Comprising a total 26 properties, The Joinery provides additional living in this popular district of Islington. The latest phase, Hardy Court consists of 6 spacious one, two and three bedroom urban styled, warehouse inspired apartments situated at the heart of the development and sets the tone for the remaining architectural design of The Joinery.

Inspired by a select colour palette of navy, yellows and warm tones, Suna Interior Design incorporated industrial style elements such as the Serge Mouille style pendant ceiling light and a brass framed bed to reflect the ‘warehouse’ refurbishment that has taken place at The Joinery. Rebecca continues, “In the master bedroom, framing the bed, are two beautiful chests above which hang wire-framed lights, adding to the industrial feel of both the design and the development.”

The dual function study which comprises a converting sofa bed, features bespoke CMYK colour artwork as well as beautifully designed Ochre Stripe House of Hackney cushions. These luxury products have been used throughout the show apartment with the bedroom boasting PALMERAL Off White and Azure House of Hackney wallpaper and linen cushions.

The bespoke, one-off artwork appearing throughout the apartment adds a quirky and eclectic feel. In the living room this is reflected through the pixelated image of Girl with a Pearl Earring. In addition, the hall showcases a gallery that has been created through one-off, hand-picked personalised works of art to create a truly unique and eye catching design for residents.

Properties at Hardy Court start at £495,000 for a two bedroom apartment.
