Benoy-designed Clayton Square wins a BCSC Gold Award

Benoy, the international firm of Architects, Masterplanners, Interior and Graphic Designers, enjoyed a great evening of success at the British Council of Shopping Centres’ Gold Awards on Wednesday evening.

Held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, the annual awards, which represent the best of the British retail sector, were attended by colleagues from Benoy’s London and Newark Studios.

Benoy was especially proud when Clayton Square, Liverpool was named the Best Refurbishment and/or Extension (under £5 million). This exciting development will help reinvigorate the heart of Liverpool with new retail and public realm.

Working for Infrared Capital Partners and The Hark Group, Benoy’s design transformed a dated and poorly trading shopping centre into a modern open galleria, attracting a number of strong tenants.

It was a special night having Benoy’s work highlighted alongside the full range of excellent nominees.
Robert Bentley, Benoy Divisional Director, commented on the win, “We were delighted to have our project shortlisted but for Clayton Square to also come away with an award is a real honour!”

“At Benoy, we strive to provide our Clients with sound design in commercially diverse environments; we aim to deliver visually evocative, contextual and exciting schemes,” commented Robert.

Working within the ‘One Benoy’ ethos, the Benoy Team collaborates across the company’s 11 studios ensuring that the client gets the very best design service; this win will no doubt be celebrated around the company.
