Grand Room Sets to Showcase Top Interior Design Trends at Grand Designs Live

Back this year by popular demand, The Grand Rooms Sets feature will once again appear at Grand Designs Live, this time sponsored by AXA Insurance. Interior designers across the country were asked to submit their ideas for a room based on a popular interior design trend of their choice. From modern Scandinavian simplicity to decadent period revival and everything in between, six outstanding and diverse interior designers have been selected to bring their visions to life at October’s Grand Designs Live at the Birmingham NEC. The rooms, designers and themes include:

Rebecca Jones, of award-winning interior styling studio Dappled Interiors, has chosen the classic trend of Monochrome offset with bright colour accents to create an elegant living room with an edge.

Location: StaffordshiSam Theakstone from Samantha Jane Decor will create a rustic, botanically-inspired dining room perfect for celebrations. With natural tones and outdoorsy touches, this stylish design is accessible to all.

Location: East Yorkshire

Suki Shocker of Suki Shocker Interior Design. Suki will create a chic and luxurious living room, with lavish touches offset by plush textures to create a sleek yet functional space. With clever styling, Suki aims to show us how sophistication, elegance and drama can all be achieved on a budget without sacrificing overall design.
