SUMMER IS AROUND THE CORNER

Now that the Beast from the East has retreated and the thaw is well set in thoughts turn to the summer.  Returning to Manchester this July is the Manchester Furniture Show (15-17 July, Manchester Central), which already has a strong exhibitor line-up with plenty of new names showing new collections in furniture and interior furnishings.

For 2018 the show has combined with the premium MidPoint Furniture Show and brings a host of new exhibitors to Manchester including trendy Caligaris, Italia Living and Gala Collezione from Italy, Polish giant SITS and the UK’s high-end upholstery company Tetrad.  Other new names include bed manufacturers Slumberdream and Divine Sleep, luxury furniture provider Kesterport and The Great Chair Company.

There are also many major brands returning, including Westbridge, Ashley Manor, Baker Furniture, Whitemeadow, VIDA Living, and Furmanac.  Over 150 exhibitors will fill the show with colour and new collections in living, dining, sleeping and interior décor all on display.  Mixed textures are still in demand, as are the sophisticated industrial look, the urban chic and the highland retreat.

In interior furnishings lighting, mirrors, art, rugs, glassware soft furnishings will be on display are from some of the UK’s most imaginative accessory companies, including Kelston House, CIMC, Wilde Java and SHH Interiors.

Commenting on the 2018 event Show Director Laraine Janes, “We are already looking forward to a vibrant show this July, we have some great new names joining the Manchester line-up giving visitors the chance to see some of the very best new designs on the market.  The show is growing and attracting more buyers every year.”

The venue is the award winning and iconic Manchester Central.  A building which combines stunning Victorian architecture with 21st Century facilities, to provide an easy to visit modern exhibition space with a relaxed atmosphere.  This former central rail station, with its spectacular arched glazed roof, creates a unique show experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
