GRIPIT FIXED ON DIY MARKET @GripItFixings

Dragons’ Den success story, Gripit plasterboard fixings have announced that they will be launching their first ever national TV advertising campaign, only 5 years after receiving Deborah Meaden’s investment on the hit BBC show. The 30 second ad titled ’10 heavy objects’ is scheduled to run the 4 weeks leading up to Easter and will feature Gripit’s new DIY packs.

The ad created by production company, Dancing Aardvarks, features everyday consumers decorating their homes by hanging a range of heavy items, both usual and unusual, to plasterboard using Gripit’s simple Drill, Tap & Turn application method. Jordan Daykin, CEO and inventor of Gripit said; we want to empower DIYers of all levels to hang their curtains, shelves, TV’s, cabinets and a whole lot more. He goes on to say: Having established ourselves as a trusted plasterboard fixing for the trade, we are now extending our offering to consumers who have the confidence to hang more than just a picture or clock. Providing them with the fixings, screws and drill-bit means they have everything they need to do the job themselves.’ The Gripit philosophy of delivering simple solutions to everyday problems has been embraced by high street retailers, ASDA and Robert Dyas, who have committed to listing the new Gripit hanging kits from early Spring.
