NEW 20MM WORKTOP REDUCES FABRICATION COSTS @lathamsltd

James Latham has added a 20mm thick, HI-MACS® worktop to its solid surface portfolio and it is already proving to be a big hit with the company’s interior design and fabrication customers.

Available in five, on-trend colours – Alpine White, White Quartz, Arctic Granite, Urban Concrete and Ice Queen – the new worktops boast a thinner edge, allowing designers to create sleek, horizontal lines which add a true statement feature to their premium quality, contemporary kitchen and bathroom projects.

These striking worktops offer a number of attractive features and benefits.  As well as meeting the highest standards for quality, aesthetics, fabrication, functionality, durability and hygiene, because there is no need to bond downturns on the sheets, fabrication costs can be reduced by up to 40% and this has made them especially popular for apartments within both the residential and student sectors.

Rob Goodman, James Latham’s Solid Surface Division General Manager explained, “It’s no surprise that these worktops have been such a big hit as they offer a double benefit to interior designers and fabricators.  Not only are they working with a modern, versatile product that is far superior to other conventional materials, but because of the greatly reduced fabrication time, there is a significant cost benefit.”

As well as its ability to be joined seamlessly so that it appears to be fashioned from a single piece of material, HI-MACS® is ultra-resistant and completely hygienic, making it a perfect solution for high-end kitchen and bathroom projects.  Its pore-free surface prevents any build-up of waste or bacteria, making the surface easier to clean, ensuring that it will stand the test of time and look stunning for years to come.

With 12 branches throughout the UK and Ireland, and product specification showrooms in London and Manchester, the new HI-MACS® worktops are available directly from stock nationwide.
