LIGHT Shines at January Furniture Show @JanuaryFurnShow

LIGHT at January Furniture Show was big news for 2019 as the new show sector had its welcome debut.  Proving to be an instant hit it returns by visitor demand in 2020 -with highly regarded lighting brands showing general, accent and task lighting.

The next iteration of the January Furniture Show runs from from 19th -22nd January 2020 at Birmingham’s NEC.  The largest furniture and interiors show in the UK, it attracts 22,000 visitors including retail, contract and interior design buyers.  Over 500 exhibitors exhibit their latest ranges and models in furniture, lighting, flooring, soft furnishings and decorative accessories.

A host of big name exhibitors will show their newest lighting ranges to a willing audience.  The returning exhibitor list includes Searchlight, Franklite, Girard Sudron, Impex Russell, Tp24, Firstlight Products, Inspired Lighting and Där Lighting.  New exhibitors will also join the lighting line-up with Gingko, MacMaster Designs, WOFI and SND Electrical among them.

Event Director, Cleere Scamell said of LIGHT at January Furniture Show: “The reaction we got to the introduction of LIGHT@JFS in 2019 was a massive thumbs up and we had no hesitation in keeping lighting as a stand-alone sector within JFS in 2020.  Such a crucial element in an interior design, it is unthinkable that this show, which encompasses everything needed to furnish a complete room, wouldn’t include a comprehensive lighting sector.”

A large percentage of the exhibitors at LIGHT@JFS are members of the LIA (Lighting Industry Association) who assisted the organisers with the set-up of the sector and had their own stand.  In 2020 the LIA return and will provide visitors with information on quality and safety, as well as promoting the UK lighting industry.

Cleere ended his comments on LIGHT @JFS saying: “We want to provide our exhibitors with the best possible platform to show their products and provide our visitors with the best possible buying and selecting experience and we are looking forward to a lively event in 2020.”
