Resonate Completes Stunning Office Design for NTT Data EMEA Executive Office Project

Resonate has successfully implemented the EMEA Executive Office for NTT Data Group, a leading technology consulting company. The project is located at 1 King William Street in the City of London opposite The Bank of England. This project involved developing the client’s stage 2 concept design, with the Resonate team developing a detailed design selecting materials that both enhance the overall aesthetic and meet the highest standards of functionality. With sustainability and innovation at the forefront of Resonate’s approach they integrated innovative, eco-friendly solutions that minimised environmental impact. Additionally, a dedicated emphasis on acoustics ensures that every aspect of the design contributes to superior sound quality and comfort within the space.

Specialising in curating spaces that are both meaningful and beautiful, Resonate is thoughtful with design, nurturing both creativity and collaboration. With this project they revolutionize the concept of nature in the workplace. A key design element is the ‘Centre of Gravity’, conceived as a central orientation space featuring an ad-hoc standing meeting table with a plant layer and lighting. Overhead greenery married with lighting creates an eye-catching display where individuals can gather, boosting both productivity and collaboration. These displays of greenery are dotted around the space and coupled with a living wall and various plants, all of which lend to the clean, natural feel of the office. A winding feature bulkhead with LED lighting connects the various office spaces, creating a cohesive environment.

Resonate prides itself on its use of locally sourced materials, for NTT they innovatively re-purposed an urban tree and transformed into a beautiful bespoke work top for the main teapoint bar. Sourced from Fallen & Felled the tree was originally just a couple of miles from the site, confirming Resonates commitment to sustainability, allowing them to both Tread Lightly and utilise a gorgeous piece of interior design.

Using translucent curtains to separate meeting rooms, Resonate created an open, airy feel within the office. The use of bold colour in the canteen coordinated with floral motifs creates an area where individuals will gather and converse, offering both bar and booth seating; the space caters for quick lunches or more prolonged visits, making it perfect for a range of users.

The design blends the Japanese heritage of NTT Data with the distinctly European approach to open plan working, diversity of work setting and the use of locally sourced materials, further enhanced by lush greenery, botanical patterns, and a vibrant colour palette that enlivens the space.
