Polish Studio SAAN Architekci Recognized at International Architecture MasterPrize 2025

The Architecture MasterPrize (AMP) is one of the most prestigious architectural competitions in the world. For the past ten years, it has brought together outstanding architects and visionaries from various countries. In this year’s edition, the winners included leading studios and renowned architects such as Zaha Hadid Architects, Álvaro Siza Vieira and Kengo Kuma and Associates. Among the selected projects in the Workplaces Interior category was the office of Fresha, designed by the Polish studio SAAN Architekci.

The year 2025 has marked a period of significant international recognition for the SAAN team. During this time, the Fresha headquarters project received international acclaim on three occasions. Lead architects Aleksandra Niedużak and Iga Sawicka were recently honored with the DNA Paris Design Award and previously recognized by the Japan International Design Pioneer Award. In both competitions, the jury also distinguished another SAAN project – a villa in Bielawa. The year concludes with yet another recognition on the global architectural stage. In the Workplaces Interior category, only 15 projects worldwide were selected, including Fresha’s office, a company developing software solutions for the beauty industry.

In 2025, Architecture MasterPrize celebrates its 10th anniversary. The competition, established by the Farmani Group, has for years pursued its mission of promoting and increasing recognition for the highest quality of architecture. Over the past decade, AMP has celebrated and rewarded creativity and innovation in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture worldwide. The prize includes four annual programs: Design of the Year, Architectural Firm of the Year Award, Architectural Products of the Year, and Architecture Photography MasterPrize. As part of Design of the Year, three main titles are awarded: Architectural Design of the Year, Interior Design of the Year, and Landscape/Urban Design of the Year. Projects are evaluated by an international jury composed of professionals from the world of architecture, as well as curators and representatives of the academic community.

Design That Inspires
Fresha’s office, located in the Central Tower building in Warsaw’s Ochota district, was designed to match the dynamic rhythm of the team’s work and the individual needs of users. The interiors feature bold yet carefully selected colors that highlight the company’s modern character.  A vibrant lime shade in the corridors brings freshness and energy, while bold colors in common and creative areas inspire employees and stimulate collaboration. The central point of the office is the kitchen, combined with a lounge area, designed in shades of blue and natural wood. Irregular and soft furniture in relaxation zones ensures comfort and supports employee well-being.

The office layout is based on an open-plan structure supplemented by glass partitions, allowing spatial separation without limiting access to daylight or a sense of openness. Solutions supporting focused work were also incorporated into the design. Quiet zones feature neutral, subdued colors, while acoustic comfort is ensured through soundproof phone booths, acoustic ceilings, and felt flooring. The space is further enhanced with natural greenery, including hanging plants, creating a friendly and balanced work environment. The overall design exudes freshness and positive energy, faithfully reflecting the company’s identity.

New Design Challenges

SAAN Architekci continue to expand their portfolio. The year 2026 looks exceptionally promising for the studio – the architects are currently working on an international five-star hotel project. The coming year will also bring new residential developments. Projects across both private and commercial sectors represent another step in strengthening the studio’s position on the international architectural market.
