Platform lift a perfect fit for Orangetheory @invalifts

Orangetheory fitness in Altrincham is a gym with a difference, as their workouts combine science, coaching and technology to offer the optimum workout. As this was a new gym, access was required from the ground level to the basement area, so all users could fully utilise the facilities.

Working in partnership with MGPM Limited and Welcomm Health & Fitness Limited, Invalifts were contacted to provide a disabled access solution between the two levels. Our lift experts surveyed the site, and recommended the MC2000 platform lift with a footprint of just 1250mm x 1560mm giving a fully Part M compliant platform size of 1120mm 1480mm.

New Viessmann Vitocell 300-V introduces the market’s most energy efficient unvented DHW cylinders @ViessmannUK

Two new DHW cylinders combine an A+ energy rating with high performance

Viessmann has introduced the only domestic hot water cylinders on the market with an A+ rating. The two new floorstanding Vitocell 300-V DHW cylinders, with capacities of 160 and 200 litres, are twice as energy efficiency in terms of standby losses as the industry norm.

Both new versions of the Vitocell 300-V replace the previous A rated models, and both are suitable for domestic installations with boiler outputs up to 80 kW. Higher DHW demands can be accommodated by combining several Vitocell 300-V cylinders into cylinder banks with common headers.

RINNAI WITH LPG IS LOW NOX, SUSTAINABLE AND PERFECT FOR OFF-GRID @rinnai_uk

Rinnai condensing hot water heater units using LPG deliver lower carbon emission figures, greater energy efficiencies and are more economic to run than other sources such as oil or electric – making them the first choice for off-grid installations and sites.

For specifiers and installers, helping an off-grid user select a low NOx energy efficient water heater is critical — and a condensing continuous flow water heater using LPG is one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly options available. By choosing a continuous flow water heater instead of a standard electric water heater, an end user can reduce energy costs by up to 50% and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 61%. When compared with oil-fired systems this saving is even greater.
