The Safety & Security Event Series Launches the Next Gen Network – Empowering Emerging Talent and Giving Young Professionals a Voice Across the Industry

The Safety & Security Event Series is proud to announce the launch of the Next Gen Network, a new ambassador programme designed to champion young professionals and support the next wave of talent entering the security, safety, workplace and integration sectors.

The Next Gen Network will serve as a platform for early career professionals to share experiences, shape industry conversations and participate more visibly in the events, content and communities that make up the Safety & Security Event Series, taking place this year on 28th-30th April 2026. This initiative aims not only to highlight emerging voices but to invest in their development.

HDA Officially Joins the New & Improved BIFIS Ecosystem as a Strategic Partner

Home Designer & Architect (HDA) is proud to officially announce our new status as a Strategic Partner of BIFIS (The British Institute of Fitted Interiors Specialists).

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both organisations, coming at a pivotal moment as BIFIS launches its new and improved mobile app. For the first time, this content-rich platform has been opened up industry-wide, offering a shared digital space where all professionals in the fitted interiors and KBB sectors can learn, connect, and grow.

THE 2026 SURFACE DESIGN SHOW ANNOUNCES ITS WINNERS #SDS26 #SDAwards

The Surface Design Awards are thrilled to announce the winners of its 2026 awards, celebrating the best in surface design across the built environment. The awards ceremony was buzzing, with over a hundred people gathered to celebrate the winners, bringing together the design and architectural community to recognise outstanding projects that demonstrate both creativity and a commitment to sustainable practices. Presented by Hamish Kilburn of Kilburn Communications, the winners were awarded trophies designed and made by Revive Innovations using their RE-CD material, made with 100% recycled CDs.

‘Design Interventions’ and expanded CDW Awards 19 – 21 May 2026

Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) is pleased to announce it will be returning to London’s EC1 on the 19 – 21 May 2026. Marking the 15th anniversary of this global design festival, a new curated series of large-scale installations will be launched called Design Interventions.
