Caple appliances take pride of place at The Black Cow Bar + Kitchen
Multi award-winning, leading appliance specialist Caple has joined forces with boutique vodka brand Black Cow* to supply a selection of high-performance appliances to the kitchen within the distillery’s new ‘brand home’. This brand home features a kitchen and bar alongside the distillery located at Childhay Manor Farm, Childhay, West Dorset.
Black Cow’s Bar + Kitchen has been specifically designed to cater for cooking demonstrations where visitors can pay for unique tasting experiences. After taking a tour of the distillery and learning a few cocktail making tricks of the trade, visitors sit down to lunch in the Black Cow Kitchen. Celebrated guest chefs such as Mark Hix or their talented house chef Rebecca Leech, who was trained at River Cottage, use the Caple appliances to produce mouthwatering dishes for the visitors, designed to show the many ways their vodka can be used as an ingredient.
Appliances in this new kitchen include the C2150SS electric single oven, CM471SS coffee machine, CM209SS microwave and the SO209SS combination steam oven from Caple’s Sense Premium collection. Visitors can also see the state-of-the-art C950i induction hob, the Di627 dishwasher, the built-under RBL4 larder fridge and RBF4 freezer and the chrome ASPS2 Aspen tap in chrome.
Caple product manager Luke Shipway says: “We were given a brief to provide high performance appliances and a stylish tap to Black Cow Bar + Kitchen to be used by professional chefs in their new cooking demonstration area. Visitors to Black Cow’s Bar + Kitchen can also now get the chance to experience live chef demonstrations on state-of-the-art Caple appliances, so they can see the results which can be achieved first-hand.”
