Colani, designed by Prof. Luigi Colani
The Iconic Colani Chair designed in 1969 by in-house designer Prof. Luigi Colani is reminiscent of the 60’s and epitomizes Colani’s design style and unique use of organic forms. Colani’s designs retain the same fascination today as in the 60s celebrating sensuous shapes from nature to create furniture and products as well as high-tech objects such as supersonic jets and super sports car. From 1968 until the beginning of 1969, Prof. Luigi Colani was employed as in-house designer at Kusch+Co. His designs still hold the same fascination today as in the 60’s and this exceptional chair, characterized by its ergonomic design and outstanding comfort level present sweeping lines that continue to add energy and pizzazz to even the most austere environments.
