Having retained the title of England’s Leading Resort earlier this month, the recognition has continued for The Belfry Hotel & Resort with their staff being acknowledged by a host of industry leading awards.
The Belfry team has been shortlisted in the HR Hospitality Awards on the 30th September at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel. The team at The Belfry has been nominated in three categories: Best HR Team, Tom Crowley Award: Arek Sielski (Ryder Grill Food Services Manager) and Rising Star (HR): Laura Lediard.
Laura has already been successful this month having been included in the prestigious 2016 miaList run by The Meetings Industry Association. Laura achieved Highly Commended Back of House having impressed the judging panel with her initiative and passion, demonstrated by Laura’s professional development in undertaking her CIPD qualification.
The Caterer.com People Awards 2016 has also shortlisted The Belfry Hotel & Resort as one of the leading hospitality HR organisations in the country following their nomination in the HR Team category.
The awards themselves, seek to recognise the initiatives that nominees develop and subsequently the hard work and dedication that goes into implementing them. This latest shortlisting adds to the impressive reputation the resort HR team is building within the HR industry. The award ceremony is taking place on the 12th October at the Park Plaza in Westminster.
In addition to their recognition within the HR industry, the operational team at The Belfry has also been acknowledged by The Caterer’s Hotel Cateys 2016 awards. Now in their 10th year, the awards are an independent benchmark of operational excellence.
A panel of judges has shortlisted The Belfry in the Hotel Restaurant Team of the Year category for the resort’s signature restaurant, The Ryder Grill. The winners will be announced on 25th November at London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel.
