Inspired by playing with overlapping shapes in a signature exploration of her design process, Kangan Arora has created Weft, a beautiful geometric design that owes much to the Ben-Day print technique used on Bollywood posters, swapping circles for squares in Sage and Chartreuse colourways.
With Loha, Kangan has looked to the beautiful, intricate and colourful hand-painted trucks of India, taking the criss-cross metal structure to form graphic and bold patterns, bringing a stunning contemporary design statement in two exquisite tonal colourways of Indigo and Chartreuse.
Weft and Loha typify Kangan’s ability to take inspiration from the Indian continent and interpret them into beautiful geometric designs.
