The Only Event in the UK to Focus on the Best in Interior & Exterior Surface Design
Surface Design Show, the home of innovative surfaces for architects and interior designers, returns to the Business Design Centre from the 10 – 12 February 2015.
The Show provides the perfect setting to touch, see and discover the latest surface products for the built environment. From bold architectural statement surfaces to the latest sustainable designs discover some of the World’s most innovative surfaces. There will be over 130 exhibitors many of whom will be launching new product exclusively at the show.
Surface Design Show also offers a packed programme of events and entertainment including a lively and entertaining Live Debate hosted by RIBA Journal on Tuesday 10 February and the ever popular PechaKucha Evening on Wednesday 11 February. New highlights to the show include ‘Materials Speed Dating’ the 2015 version of Future Thinking, a fun and interactive way to explore new materials which will be hosted by the Materials Council. The Light Collective will be running two days of lessons in Light School, top UK lighting designers will be taking on the role of lectures. There will also be a selection of top name lighting exhibitors including Commercial Lighting, Wila Lighting, Anolis, LED Linear, Spectral and Concord.
Global Color Research™ will also return to the Show. Following the success of the 2014 Trend Wall, the influential consultancy and creators of colour forecasting publication MIX Magazine will present Colour Collaborations. The exhibit, located in and outside the Business Design Centre is designed to inspire and give insight, focusing on the vital colour and material trends for 2016 and their importance within design.
Part of the outstanding success of the show is the commitment to recognising excellence with the Surface Design Awards. The Awards recognise examples of progressive design and the use of innovative surfaces in projects both in the UK and Internationally. The Awards presentation will take place on Thursday 12 February 2015 at the Business Design Centre in London on the last day of Surface Design Show.
