The Luxury Property Show Returns as Demand for High Value Homes Increases Globally

On 3rd and 4th November 2015, The Luxury Property Show takes place for its 9th year at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in Fulham, London to showcase some of the world’s finest homes, interiors and property related services. The show comes at a time when a new industry report shows a recent global growth in demand for luxury property.

A new report* by Wealth-X and Sotheby’s International Realty shows that the UHNW (ultra-high net worth) Residential Real Estate index rose to 115.2 in Q2 2015, an 8.3% rise year-on-year, and the sixth consecutive quarter in which the index has risen. The continued rise in the index reflects the confidence of UHNW individuals to invest in luxury residential real estate. The demand is being driven from buyers seeking a safe investment diversification or/and buying as part of a program to gain citizenship or residency status overseas. Some key destinations are London, the Caribbean, Dubai, Cape Town and Madrid.

Sponsored by Rightmove Overseas and Smart Currency FX, and hosted by TV property expert Melissa Porter, the show has firmly established itself as a key event for lifestyle buyers, investors and wealth managers looking for luxury property and services in the UK and abroad.

Eddie Sikora, Director of The Luxury Property Show comments: “The luxury property market has grown dramatically since our show’s launch in 2007. Buyers know exactly what they want and are more demanding in terms of what their ideal property should offer. The Luxury Property Show aims to meet that demand by exhibiting a wide variety of property related services and homes from all over the globe including award-winning resorts, beachfront properties, prestige villas and luxury apartments as well as private islands.”

Visitors to the show can explore the exhibitor stands and network with investment, property and currency professionals from companies including La Manga Club in Spain, Emerald Palace Group in Dubai and Mayfair International Realty.

The show is also popular with trade visitors for networking and adding to the appeal this year Rightmove will be holding some seminars offering invaluable insights into the buying behaviour of overseas property buyers in the UK and how to market effectively to them.

The Luxury Property Show is free of charge and will feature a by-invitation only champagne reception on the first day of the event.
