Talented London based artist, Anna Jacobs, has just launched two stunning new cushion and lamp design collections at quiirk – www.quiirk.co.uk – the online home and design boutique for limited edition and unusual accessories.
Anna sources all materials in the UK and her designs are all created from her hand drawn designs, inspired by nature. This season Anna has focused on more graphic and abstract designs, to complement her other bird and plant themed pieces for the home.
‘Sedum Detail in Orange’ Collection:
The glorious, rich, oranges and reds used by Anna, really help this collection to stand out. Perfect for adding warmth and colour to any room design. A piece from this collection will brighten up any sitting room or bedroom. The cushions are available in 2 shapes and the lamps come in small or medium sizes – each with a different flex cord colour option.
Anna has used a soft linen cotton mix for her cushions. The front of each one is printed with a close-up of her richly textured painting of the sedums in her Camberwell garden. Each back is a 55% linen 45% cotton mix in a cool oatmeal colour.

Anna’s new lamps are crafted using handmade high quality crystal glass made near the North Norfolk coast, with a handmade cotton lampshade. The glow they cast, when lit, brings beautiful warmth to a room. They are available in 2 sizes with a choice of black, indigo, red or pink flex. The small base (36cm tall), comes with a 20cm shade and the medium base (47cm tall), comes with a 30cm lampshade.

‘Beak Street’ Collection:
‘Beak Street’ is a stylish monochrome design, featuring a close up drawing of the feathers from an earlier Hummingbird design that Anna created. The bold, sharp, graphic pattern used holds the eye, creating an optical illusion effect. It’s a standout design, that works well on its own in a room, or surrounded by vivid colours. The cushions are available in 2 shapes and the lamps come in small, medium or large sizes – each with a different flex cord colour option.
The cushions are a soft linen cotton mix with the pattern printed on the front. The back of each cushion is 55% linen 45% cotton in a cool oatmeal tone. The black piping around each cushion is handmade from a linen cotton union.
