Best-selling Business Author Giving Away Investment Property

In protest against Osborne’s Buy-To-Let tax

Winner of the People’s Choice Best Real Estate Investor 2015, #1 Best-selling author & property multi-millionaire Marco Robinson and his UK property buying partner, Simon Paul, are giving away a £110,000 buy-to-let fully renovated home for FREE – in a protest over George Osborne’s new stamp duty levy.Marco, 47, has launched the give-away in a stand against Chancellor’s property tax rises.

Critics of the 3% hike on buy-to-let properties – which came into effect on April 1 – predict it will harm the property investment market as it will make it too costly to invest, and will also lead to a spate of property sales.

The winner of Marco’s competition will be handed the ownership of the two -bed, fully furnished property in central Manchester, as well as being guaranteed a rental income of £6,500 per annum for FIVE years. After that time the winner is free to handle the property as they see fit. It does not have a mortgage. At the time of publication, the property is worth £110,000.

Manchester-born Marco, whose new book The Financial Freedom Guarantee was published at the end of February, said: “George Osborne’s new stamp duty law is a blatant attempt to cash-in on a booming market, but it is badly-thought out and utterly pointless. It is doing all it can to crush entrepreneurial activity in what is a fantastically rewarding sector.

“However, I don’t agree that it the ultimate death knell of buy-to-let activity. That’s why I am giving away a rental-market house.

Entrants to the competition are asked to play a game found on Marco’s Twitter page – @marcorobinson7 – in which they will need to take a screen shot of a fast moving GIF (a moving image) at the right time, and enter it by attaching the image in a reply to Marco’s tweet. There is also a requirement for the entrant to retweet the competition to their own followers and post a picture of themselves and the book on Instagram tagging Marco Robinson’s Instagram account: marcorobinsonnow.

Those who meet all entry requirements, including successfully completing the skill game on Twitter, will be entered into a draw. The first person picked will win the house. There are no additional prizes. The draw will be made on or around December 31, 2016.
