JANUARY FURNITURE SHOW ANNOUNCED AS SCOTTISH FTBA GOLF DAY MAIN SPONSOR

The January Furniture Show (JFS) is to be the main sponsor of the SFTBA Golf Day.

JFS signed the deal to support the annual SFTBA Golf Day – one of the major annual fundraisers for The Scottish Furniture Trade Benevolent Association (SFTBA). The event, which has been running for over 70 years, will take place this year at Deer Park Golf Club in Livingston on 4 August.

Theresa Raymond, director of the January Furniture Show, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be the main sponsor for the SFTBA Golf Day. We’ve always had wonderful support for our events from Scotland and this is our opportunity to give something back and to say thank you.”

As part of the agreement, JFS will be a hole sponsor and its logo and a company message will feature in the programme. JFS will also be one of the ‘hole in one’ sponsors where the lucky recipient will receive a Rolex watch at the value of £10,000.

The SFTBA is a charity that helps people in Scotland, connected with the furniture industry, who through illness or misfortune require a helping hand.

Said Bob Dymond, SFTBA Treasurer and Secretary: “The income the charity receives from our generous sponsors enables us to help those in our trade who need it the most. We are thrilled to have the January Furniture Show sponsor our annual golf outing as I know the Scots love and look forward to their visits to Manchester in July, and Birmingham in January and our thanks go to them for their generous support.”
