The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) will be hosting an industry event at the ‘Thursday Late’ as part of New Designers 2016 in collaboration with the Institute of Directors, IORMA — the Global Consumer Commerce Centre and The Manufacturer magazine. Industrialists and entrepreneurs interested in fresh ideas and expertise in design are invited to register their interest in attending.
New Designers is a two-week annual event showcasing the best of the UK’s design graduates. The KTN-hosted reception will feature inspirational speeches from industry heavyweights including Customer Experience Director at Barclays Clive Grinyer and Founder of Plan Product Strategy Consultants Kevin McCullagh.
As well as providing the opportunity to discover how designers drive innovation in big business and how creative thinking is intrinsic to commercial success, the reception will allow guests to view the UK’s largest exhibition of its freshest design talent as well as network with other like-minded members of industry and investors.
Taking place Thursday 7 July at the Business Design Centre in London, the KTN industry reception will start at 5pm and finish at 8pm. The Thursday Late aims to connect business leaders and manufacturers with the best new UK design talent.
KTN will also be running three talks during the day on the Friday 8 July.
