GARDENA is launching a range of six new secateurs, designed with the brands’ decades of gardening expertise and cutting insight. GARDENA identified the three key requirements for a good set of secateurs: robust, cuts well and comfortable to hold; and incorporated it into this new range.
Cutting is a key task in the garden year-round, and secateurs are one of the most-used garden utensil through the seasons; whether cutting roses for a vase or pruning trees or twigs from trees or shrubs. To make these tasks manageable without having to use much force, the new range from GARDENA, provides the appropriate secateurs for all applications.
The quadruple precision-ground and non-stick-coated upper and bottom blades on the stainless steel Bypass Secateurs ensure accurate and clean cutting of young shoots and green plants. The high-quality Anvil Secateurs feature a precision-ground and non-stick-coated upper blade which allows for effortless cutting of older and woody branches. And thanks to the single-hand safety lock, all of the new GARDENA Secateurs can be safely stored after use.
All models feature ergonomically shaped handles to enable a hand position that is gentle on the joints in any cutting situation. They also include soft components to ensure additional comfort. Many models also feature a practical handle width-adjustment – the perfect cutting tool for any hand size.
For example, the new GARDENA Secateurs B/S-M, are perfects for cutting flowers, young shoots and green wood. They can be adjusted to two different handle
widths. The smaller handle width is particularly practical and strength-saving for gardeners with smaller hands.
The new GARDENA Secateurs B/S-XL are characterised by their particularly high handling comfort. The opening width of the handles can simply be adapted continuously to the user’s hand size. The integrated stainless steel spring is protected against contamination, cannot be mislaid, and thus always guarantees a smooth cutting movement.
Particularly robust, are the GARDENA Aluminum secateurs B/L with their solid handles. In addition, their blade can be replaced. Skilled gardeners can even readjust the blade as required.
All secateurs are manufactured in Germany, and therefore bear the “Made in Germany” label. GARDENA grants a 25-year warranty on all models. All models will be available from September 2016.
