Pellet stove manufacturer Cola UK has won not one, not two but THREE awards at the Hearth & Home Exhibition that took place in June at the Harrogate International Centre in June.
Of the five stoves displayed on Cola’s stand, two were the winners of their category and one was placed as a finalist. The Diamond pellet air stove won Pellet or Wood Chip (Non-Boiler) Appliance of the Year with the Vision HR stove being awarded a place as a Finalist, and the Termo Perla Plus pellet hydro stove won the award for Pellet or Wood Chip (Boiler) Appliance of the Year.
“This was our first time of exhibiting at Hearth & Home and we are absolutely thrilled to have been recognised by what is regarded as the go-to event for the stove and fireplace industry,” said Cola Stoves marketing manager Jasmin Martin.
“Over the three days of the exhibition we welcomed many visitors to our stand and made some great contacts who we look forward to trading with in the future. The atmosphere was buzzing all day as the leading names of the industry swapped news and displayed their skills and new products – it really was the place to be for any business wanting to succeed in this market.”
The stoves were judged on four criteria – innovation, general design, construction & quality and retailer, installer & customer advantages. The three stoves scored highly in all these areas with stand-out features being high efficiency levels, Italian build quality, safety features, self-cleaning ability, retail pricing and the two year warranty & service back-up.
The Diamond pellet air stove, which has been awarded DEFRA exempt status, was especially admired for its attractive cylindrical design; the Termo Perla pellet hydro stove impressed with its four intelligent safety features and the Vision HR pellet air stove scored highly for excellent efficiency levels and build quality.
The Cola range of stoves is designed and built in Italy, where the company originated, but Cola UK – as the name suggests – is fully UK-based. From the company’s head office in Staffordshire, Cola UK can swiftly despatch stoves and spare parts, has a call centre to provide expert help and advice and a showroom fitted with a range of stoves, including fully working models. Cola also has a team of HETAS qualified engineers with expert knowledge of Cola appliances.
“Our aim is to build close relationships with installers, retailers and distributors by offering all the back-up they need to provide the best service to their customers,” said Jasmin. “Buying a pellet stove is a big decision for homeowners and it’s also an exciting thing to do – they are highly attractive and eco-friendly appliances and their owners are rightly very proud of them – so our aim is to make the whole process as successful and smooth running as it can be for everyone involved.
“We are also always pleased to collaborate with our customers on marketing and social media so we welcome all ideas and suggestions. There are so many features that make pellet stoves the future of home heating – they are highly energy efficient, easy to install, operate and maintain, cost-effective and safe for families – so we’re keen to hear from anyone in the industry who would like to share in this success.”
