OCEAN MEDIA GROUP BUYS THE FLOORING SHOW

The Flooring Show, the UK’s national flooring event, which marked its 55th edition this year, has been purchased by Ocean Media Group, a leading provider of exhibitions, events, awards and specialist publications.

Owned and organised by Wendy Adams for the past five years, the show has undergone a period of regeneration and growth under her management and is now gearing up for its 2018 edition, which will run on 16-18 September at the Harrogate Convention Centre.

The Flooring Show is the biggest event in the industry’s calendar. It brings together the retail and contract sectors and key industry bodies such as the Contract Flooring Association, the National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers and the Flooring Industry Training Association. It is widely recognised as a key sales and networking event for the industry and all the Associations have pledged their continued support for the show and its new owners.

Wendy Adams commented, “The Flooring Show is a great event which will benefit from being part of such a well-respected organiser. Ocean Media’s forward-thinking leadership, proven experience and extensive resources will allow us to maximise the potential of the show.”
