SIG Roofing gets social @SIGRoofing

Keeping roofing contractors up-to-date with all the latest news, events and in-store promotions, SIG Roofing has gone social by launching its first Facebook page.

Created to enhance the service it provides customers, each of SIG Roofing’s 111 branches across the UK now has its very own dedicated Facebook channel. The offering will give roofers the chance to engage with their local branch and be the first to find out about the latest offers available.

Richard Kendrick, SIG Roofing’s marketing manager, said: “Facebook is one of the largest social platforms in the world and plays a significant part in the everyday lives of our customers.
“Launching new Facebook pages for each of our branches is all about adding value to the service we provide by utilising another communications channel where we can reach and connect with existing and potential customers.”

SIG Roofing has already built up an active social media community, with nearly 7,000 Twitter and over 400 LinkedIn followers. The new Facebook channels are designed to complement this activity.
Richard continued: “One of the key reasons we are doing this is because the way people want information and how they are communicating is changing all the time. It also gives our customers the opportunity to comment and give us feedback, something that is invaluable in helping our business continue to move forward.

“With our new Facebook page, it gives roofing contractors the chance to connect and engage with their nearest branch, wherever they are working in the country.”
