Now is the time to undress the boiler, according to TV’s Sophie Robinson
Last week, TV presenter and interiors expert Sophie Robinson, unveiled the Greenstar Lifestyle range by Worcester Bosch, the world’s first designer boiler range. The range comprises two models, the Life and the Style. Both models feature a slick new design and a whole host of innovative features. Available in black or white, the Style‘s high gloss finish also provides a premium finish and exudes sophistication.
“As an interior designer, boilers have always caused a design headache. It’s always been a major task to box them in and hide them away. With this new innovative and stylish design, you can now proudly ‘undress’ your boiler and display it in your home for all to see.”
Here are Sophie’s top reasons on why the Greenstar Lifestyle range will transform the boiler market:
- A welcome addition to the modern kitchen: “The Greenstar Lifestyle range‘s design blends seamlessly with your modern kitchen. Kitchens are now the heart of the home – we cook there, we hang out there, we entertain there – so the fact the boiler can now be on display is jolly clever!”
- Saves valuable space: “Boilers are often in the kitchen or utility room and boxing them in takes up precious space. The Lifestyle range can be fitted to the wall and become a beauty not a blot on your room.”
- Saves money and time: “It’s time-consuming and expensive to come up with stylish and subtle boxing-in solutions for your boiler, particularly as they are often in an awkward space. With the Lifestyle range you don’t need to worry about hiding it away – you can spend that money on selecting some lush new home décor instead!”
- Black is back!: “It shouldn’t, but it feels truly revolutionary to have a boiler available in a colour other than white! Coloured kitchens are the next big interiors design trend and it’s great to have the Style boiler providing a different option when planning your look.”
- Function and aesthetics combined: “Just as we’ve moved from the 1980s brick of a phone to the functional but sleek design everyone has in their pocket today, I see this innovation from Worcester Bosch as a winning combination set to transform the heating industry”
Commenting on the launch, Sophie, of BBC 2’s The Great Interior Design Challenge fame, said: “In some ways I’m flabbergasted it’s not been done before. We all care deeply about the aesthetics of our home but we also all have to have that unsightly white box of a boiler. I’m genuinely thrilled that Worcester Bosch has innovated to bring more choice to consumers, creating a desirable product that saves so many interior design challenges. It’s time to undress the boiler and display this beautiful beast with pride! High fives to Worcester Bosch!”
The new Greenstar Lifestyle range
Most important for the design-conscious home owner is its looks: the boiler no longer needs to be ‘hidden away’ as this stylish new range can be proudly shown off in your home alongside chic Conran furniture, Bang & Olufsen speakers and modern Jonathan Adler decor.
“This is our boldest and most innovative launch to date” says Victoria Billings, Marketing Director at Worcester Bosch. “From the phone to the fridge, digitalisation and connected technologies have transformed many previously unattractive personal and household items into design-led works of art. We started with a question: why not bring this kind of thinking to the boiler world? Why does the boiler have to be just a white box on the wall – why don’t we make it a feature of the room? And so the Greenstar Lifestyle range, the world’s first designer boiler range, was born!”
