PlanRadar, the web-based application for construction and real estate projects, has won the Construction Award at last nights’ EG Tech Awards, following the company’s entry into the UK market in April this year.
This win demonstrates the tech firm’s best use of technology to improve a construction project or process.
PlanRadar provides a SaaS solution for digital construction documentation, defect and task management for use on smartphones and tablets throughout the whole lifecycle of buildings. The application has been widely used throughout Europe since its inception in 2014.
Following its UK launch, the Vienna, London and Zagreb based company has now employed in total over 70 staff to support increased productivity, cost efficiency and time savings for the fatigued construction markets worldwide.
The EG Tech awards are hailed as the ‘Oscars’ of property technology and are highly recognised within the industry.
Sander van de Rijdt, Managing Director and Co-Founder of PlanRadar said: “This award win is a big step forward for us in a new market and we couldn’t be prouder. We’re committed to digitising the construction and real estate industry and as more UK companies choose PlanRadar to help them save hours of admin time and reverted errors, our business outlook for the rest of 2019 remains extremely strong.”
Ibrahim Imam, Managing Director and Co-Founder of PlanRadar adds: “Entering a new market is always a big risk – no matter the company size. For us, this win is a big boost of confidence and confirms the appetite in the UK market that our studies have shown. We’re really looking forward to making ConTech a revolutionary sector around the world, and this is a big step in the right direction”
The award-winning app already has more than 4,000 customers worldwide and in the past twelve months, has seen sales rise by 300 per cent.
The EG Tech Awards took place on 10th July 2019 at the Pavilion at The Brewery, London.
