Tarkett has been shortlisted for the edie Sustainability Leaders Awards 2020.
The global flooring manufacturer is a finalist in the Circular Economy Innovation of the Year category, going up against nine other companies for the award.
At the heart of Tarkett’s approach to the circular economy is its Doing Good Together strategy. Through this, the company focuses on three key areas: Designing for Life, Closing the Loop and Driving Collaboration. As a result of this approach, Tarkett has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 8.5% since 2010, and by increasing the amount of recycled content in its products Tarkett aims to send zero industrial waste to landfill by 2020.
As proof of its commitment to the circular economy and sustainability, Tarkett is a member of the World Economic Forum and the United Nations Global Compact.

The winners of the edie Sustainability Leaders Awards 2020 will be announced at a gala ceremony on February 5 2020 in London.
