Deborah bowness presents a new collection of miniature replica wallpapers . Hand crafted using the same techniques as the wallpapers, each miniature is printed by machine, hand silk screen printed with colour and some finished with hand painted detail.
The WALLPAPER by deborah bowness Artist’s Collection has been growing over the past 15 years and is perhaps best known for designs such as Genuine Fake Bookshelf and Wallpaper Frocks. These wallpapers have become iconic designs in contemporary wallpaper history and are held in print collections at the V&A, London, The Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, New York and Musee des Arts

The miniatures COLLECTION are 12cm wide and 60cm long (4.7′ W x 23.6′ H) , approximately one fifth of the size of the original wallpaper designs. Backed onto grey board, these beautiful prints can be hung on a wall or lent, on a desk. There are 30 designs in the collection to collect and create a unique and beautiful trompe l’oeil world in miniature.
