A thriving success at northmodern

Northmodern ended Saturday, August 15, and left an imprint of success. northmodern was launched in January 2015 and within the first year of the shows life, it is obvious that the concept has been well received by the industry. Northmodern is more than a business platform, it is a community for knowledge sharing, networking, innovation and design.

With the increase in brands exhibiting at northmodern August 2015, amounting to 480, and an increase in square meters, northmodern is pleased to announce more than 4400 visitors came to do business this season. This is, from the first edition of northmodern in January 2015, a stunning increase of 62%.

northmodern’s focus is not the quantity of the visitors but the quality, and in respect to that the team behind northmodern has worked on increasing the international awareness of the fair. We are happy to report that this has resulted in a 100% increase in international visitors at northmodern from January 2015 to August 2015.

northmodern is more than a trade show. It is a movement bringing back Copenhagen on the world map as a leding destination for furniture and lifestyle for both domestic Scandinavian and international talents and super brands. It is a collaboration with Design Denmark and Danish Design Center working closely together in a joint vision for a broader design event encompassing Copenhagen and Denmark as a whole. This will, combined with a focus on a sharp curation and segmentation, ensure that we will continue to grow.
