Paonazzo Biondo, dubbed the most sophisticated and artistic marble from Porcelanosa collection XTONE, is one of the most versatile too.
“This simulated marble will fool anyone,” said Teresa Vega, UK Marketing Coordinator for Porcelanosa, “and because it is simulated, we are able to apply it to a wide range of applications. Originally designed for use on walls, selected XTONE finishes were recently used in some fantastic table designs from our brand Gamadecor, and exhibited at Milan Design Week.”
Considered one of the most extraordinary natural stone designs, Paonazzo Biondo combines elegant ivory with delicate caramel, sage, and merlot veins, interspersed with flashes of gold. A true timeless classic with high decorative value, it can instantly elevate a space into super luxury territory.
Each slab is made using 40 per cent recycled materials and can also be fully recycled at the end of their life. To ensure longevity, the finish is resistant to water, scratches and stains, unlike natural marble, making it ideally suited for use in bathrooms and kitchens.
“Paonazzo Biondo is inspired by classical marble and Renaissance palaces. However, with the ability to create reflexive designs to fit any room, it is instantly modernised. Innovative digital printing has allowed us to create a product that is reminiscent of palatial opulence, yet still remains contemporary,” explained Teresa.
“It represents the evolution of XTONE through its distinguished design and composition. Its resistance to extreme temperatures, impacts and chemicals is complemented by its sustainability, and ability to keep clean.”
Brown, gold and copper tones can be complemented with vintage furniture, solid wood floors, glass or metal hanging lamps and neutral textiles.
